Mixing Dust (also known as Quarry Dust or Stone Dust in Tamil Nadu) is the fine residual powder produced during aggregate crushing and screening operations. With particle sizes from 0 to 4.75mm and a significant portion below 600 microns, Mixing Dust is used as a filler material, site levelling base, sub-grade compaction fill, and in certain brick and block manufacturing processes. Also used by some contractors as a partial sand substitute in non-structural applications.
